Our Privacy Philosophy

Lucidapp is built so that everything happens on your device. Your reference images are processed locally to render the augmented reality overlay, and nothing is uploaded to us or anyone else.

What Lucidapp Accesses

Camera

Lucidapp uses the rear camera solely to display your reference image overlaid on the real world through augmented reality. The camera feed is processed live on your device and is never recorded, saved, or sent anywhere.

Photos

When you choose a reference image, Lucidapp uses the standard iOS photo picker. The image you pick is stored only within the app on your device so it can be restored when you reopen the app. You can remove it at any time from within the app.

What We Don't Collect

  • Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number)
  • Location data
  • Analytics or app usage data
  • Any data that could identify you personally

What We Don't Do

  • We do not collect analytics or usage data.
  • We do not require an account or any sign-up.
  • We do not contain ads or third-party tracking SDKs.
  • We do not make network requests with your images or any personal data.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

Because Lucidapp collects no data, there is nothing to share, sell, or rent, and no data is transferred to third parties. Since your images never leave your device, there is nothing for us to disclose.

Data Security

Your images are protected by iOS's built-in security and on-device processing that never transmits data externally. There is no cloud storage or external server involved.

Data Retention

Your selected reference image and palette are stored locally on your device. You have full control:

  • Remove your reference image at any time from within the app
  • Delete the app to remove all app data
  • Manage camera and photo permissions in iOS Settings

Children

Lucidapp is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. It collects no data from anyone, including children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above.
